Based in Suva, Fiji the company utilizes the "Inter Island Airways"​ and "Inter Island Air"​ name brand. The airline base of operations is at Suva Nausori International Airport, located approximately 25 minutes drive from downtown and capital city of Suva. Inter Island Airways (Fiji) Limited will ultimately interconnect its operations and flights with American Samoa-based Inter Island Airways to form a regional network of interconnecting island routes currently not served (or under served) yet have great business and travel potential to expand seamless user travel experience throughout the South Pacific. The airline plans to launch domestic air service in July/August 2013 utilizing a fleet of 19-seater Dornier 228's and CRJ-200ER aircraft.
